I went to Berkshire over the weekend to watch our site superheroine Shannon’s sister Suzy play rugby with her college girls team. I have never watched as sexy or as muddy a match like this ever since playing rugby against my high school girls team! The pitch they played on was a complete mess even before they started, thanks to another girls football team making it nice and messy for them! It has rained quite a lot up there over the past few weeks, and it showed!
Just before the match, all nice and almost clean, just a bit of mud from their warm up:
Then the match gets under way. Things get dirty really quick, these girls don’t mess about. Straight away I wished I could have my kit handy so I could join them and show the other side who’s boss! One of Suzy’s teammates gets tackled, and down she goes:
Another tackle comes shortly after by the other side. The pitch was getting worse by the minute, and made things difficult for both sides. It was barely recognisable as a field, and resembled the mudbath I played Swamp Soccer on two years ago! This next pic was taken by Kassie who was standing over the other side:
I’m surprised the college didn’t get into trouble, this was a public field owned by a council, hence the temporary benching set up for specatators. I suppose they must have had permission to have a ladies team and a rugby team play after one another. I don’t envy the job of whoever has to re-lay or re seed the grass!
Half time came up, Suzy’s side were losing, here she is on the left with a team-mate, both looking sexy as hell all muddy but very dejected:
Second half came, and things got revved up, even muddier and much more determined by Suzy’s side. I also took a lot more photos! Suzy’s team REALLY didn’t wanna let go of the ball. Caption for the next pic, “Gimme the ball NOW!” “No way, we’re winning this match, you’re gonna have to pry it from my cold muddy hands!!”
The girl tackling must have been the only girl by that time with clean legs apart from the substitute girls waiting by the sidelines! The next pic is one of my favourite action ones of this match, showing Suzy’s best friend Ruby making a run for it with the ball, running the muddy gauntlet like a sexy muddy rugby goddess:
Soon things picked up a little more, Suzy’s team were winning after scoring a couple of tries, here’s Suzy running alongside Phoebe giving her backup. I remember being in formation playing rugby at school, you’d all run alongside each other in a line and throw the ball to each other to stop the other side getting it:
Look at all those cute clean ladies on the sidelines. If I’d have been playing I’d have called them all on the pitch to go all out against the other side, getting nice and dirty. Next up, Phoebe was downed (you can just see her in the bottom left), so Ruby was on hand to come in formation with Suzy after getting the ball:
Then Suzy later had the ball and ran the gauntlet, looking as hot as a sexy muddy 20 year old adrenaline charged rugby chick can, which is quite a lot in my book:
I knew by this point they were going to win. Everyone was egging them on, Kassie and myself included, and Shannon, Suzy’s sister was with us (not in her Supergirl outfit though), and all the shouting seemed to encouraage them even more, as here’s one of the girls, Sandra, really going for it to get past an opponent:
Then, sadly, she was tackled, right into the mud, but kept hold of the ball, looking round for someone to chuck it to, and that person came in the form of Suzy, all in the next two pictures:
Suze then made a big run for it, and boy did she go for it, like her and her team’s life depended on it. I’ve never seen so much determination and stamina!
She lobbed the ball to Sandra, who was wide open. Sandy then proceeded to run like hell, and score the final touchdown, winning the match for the team!
The triumphant team, after the match, looking happy but muddy and tired! A game well worth it, for the team and the spectators. Kassie even had her eye on the cute Asian girl player at the front 🙂
Wow. I have never witnessed an all-girl rugby match as fiesty, muddy, and adrenaline charged as this one. You’ve gotta be there to appreciate the sexiness and power of strong girls playing rugby. You can even play against them and feel the power directly. If you like sporty girls who are not wimps, then girls rugby is for you.
Football is for wimps, rugby is for real men, and real women, as it is a competitive contact sport. You can’t be scared of getting dirty or injured. Next stop on my list of 50 things to do before I die is to play a game like this with a women’s rugby team, down and dirty. I’ve played as the only guy in a women’s football team, now to do it in rugby! The boys against the girls rugby matches at school just weren’t the same as this. This is all-girl, hot, dirty and ferocious action, the pictures don’t really do justice.
To sum girls rugby up in one or two words? Scrum-ptious!

I went to watch Amy, an ex Woodhill LFC player and friend of Rikku playing footie in Stockport. She’s taught me skills with Rikku in footie kickabouts, and I’ve gotta say she’s really powerful, quick, she wears her kit really well, and looks really hot too, as this action shot I took explains:
She’s the one in white, and her opponent is looking hot too, plus defeated, and rightly so, as the ball went in after this photo was shot! That look of pure concentration on Amy’s face says it all. Don’t be fooled by those lovely slender legs, they hold a lot of power, she’s kicked me with them several times in matches, and she hurts!
Even Kassie was jumping up and down screaming for her! I remember how sexy K looked in that match with Hopwood last year, my cute Japanese babe learning footie showing off her trademark silky pins… Awww! Hehe, she got quite muddy (and giggly!) really quick, she wasn’t used to running fast in football boots on a muddy slippery pitch! We were watching Amy and I reminded Kas of that day, she giggled cheekily!
Cute, but not to be messed with when adrenaline fueled and in charge of a ball, that’s a girl footie player summed up!

As I thought, I’m aching like crazy, but want to do it all again. I need to learn not to throw myself about as much when goalkeeping. My shins are killing me, why I didn’t wear my shinpads is beyond me, I suppose I didn’t expect Louise to be so fast and fierce at tackling, as I’ve never played against her before, only watched her play! The wrestling bit at the end was admittedly the sexiest and fun bit, as how often does a woman footie player let you wrestle her, while in her kit after a game, in the mud?
Wrestling at the end of games has really been a tradition for me, as our muddy footie and rugby lessons at school always used to end with us all just slopping about throwing each other into the slop. Our school pitch was on a hill, and we always had to run round the perimeter before and after games, and, yup, you guessed it, mud time! I remember one rugby lesson, it was really sloppy, we were on our run before the match. I ended up being the first to be thrown in the mud by the guys, having them jump on me and whizz me round in it by my feet!! Coming back to where the teacher was, Mr. Threlfall said, “Blimey Jamie, the game hasn’t even started and you look like you’ve done 6 matches already!!” I still laugh and chuckle about it today, as the guys did that day in our little circle round the teacher.
I’ve always been a big kid, loved mud, and always enjoyed putting the two together. Why not? In rugby you always get dirty anyhow, as it’s a contact sport, and it kinda made me like the sport even more than football. That was the first stage. Playing footie with Rikku and her ladies team years later, back last year enhanced it. Women are cute, and they’re cuter in sport, in their kits. Call it a discovered fetish, I’m not ashamed of it, at all. I now prefer sport with women, because it’s sexy, and women are human too (and nowhere near as wimpy and as unfaithful as Premiership male footballers. Yeah, you, Shrek (Sorry, ahem, Rooney, I got you confused there).
If any hot blooded straight males tell me hot footie & rugby babes in their kits, getting stuck into a game and the mud that comes with it (and each other sometimes, they’re vicious when pissed off mixed with adrenaline!!) isn’t one of the hottest things ever, you’re not a bloke, probably because you’re egotistical & hypocritical, and think women are only good for housework, which after my experiences in life, is so so soooo untrue. You should try playing soccer with them, it’s H-O-T. Even lesbian and bisexual women play football & rugby……wow!….!!
Sorry, got carried away….again! Louise is up for more training sessions, and I’ve asked her to bring some other ex-Woodhill players with her for next time, Lisa the cute blonde angel Woodhill captain still hasn’t taken my offer of a match up, she’s been busy, but hopefully she might soon. We just need a pitch with showering facilities, I can’t invite them home from our lodge pitch to shower, as much as that would be very nice to do…

I did some mini footie training today, because I was bored. Louise, one of the players from Woodhill LFC, Rikku’s old ladies team, emailed me a few days ago to say she now lives in the Radcliffe area, and did I fancy a kickabout on the lodge playing fields? I couldn’t refuse, so I got ready and went down to the New Farm playing fields on the lodge near my parents and Jenny’s houses. There’s no changing or showering facilities, so I had to get my kit on at my parents, and put my boots on when I got to the field. And then, as it has been raining quite a lot, had to come back in my muddy kit, which was dirtier and wetter than I’d expected! Jenny came along to watch, she doesn’t have any kit, and didn’t want to play
Louise is a really good footie babe, and she put me through my paces. It’s been a few years since she played for Woodhill, but she’s still as powerful as she was when I used to watch her and Rikky’s team play in Prestwich. It was really windy today, and we were using a light training ball. We did goalkeeping, and tackling, and then some general chasing each other round the field, getting as dirty as possible! Goalkeeping was the dirtiest, though. She’d boot the ball at me in goal, and the wind would accelerate the ball, and throw it off course, making me dive further to catch it. The pitch had recently been used, and whoever used it last had left it nice and muddy for me in goal. Yippee!
Tackling was painful, and muddy, as I’d forgotten to put my shinpads on, silly me! Lou would kick the ball to me, and the wind would carry it away, right into a puddle as I went to stop it with my foot. Out of habit (and admittedly on purpose!) I’d try to stop it from the top of the ball, and because it was wet, I’d slip and fall over, getting quite wet. My boots were squelching within minutes, but my studs kept my grip in the mud and wet really well. As soon as I’d get up, Lou would be on me, getting the ball back, and trying to get me back in the mud again!
Then we both got bored, and decided to just run around slide tackling each other to see who could get the muddiest, and who could make Jenny laugh the most. Louise had her shinpads on, so I don’t think she felt the tackles from me as much, but she certainly fell as much as me. After about 30 minutes, we decided to get even dirtier, and turn the game into Soccer Wrestling, and started wrestling each other, much to the amusement of two rather cute ladies who were walking their dog on the perimeter, and stopped to watch us in our kits, wrestling the hell outta each other!! I didn’t know they were there until I heard giggles and a wolf whistle (that weren’t Jen!), looked at Jenny and realised she was looking at the girls who’d appeared!
One of the girls made us really laugh by shouting, “I should try this next time my boyfriend upsets me!” She must have thought Lou and I were a couple!! I shouted back, “Come and join in, ladies, it’s fun and very therapeutic!! Relate is nothing compared to it!”
This was the result of the day! Not the muddiest, as the water puddles washed lots of mud off me! Jenny got me with the camera after I’d come back to get changed! I wanted Louise to come back and shower at my parents, but she didn’t bring clothes with her, and we didn’t take a camera to the pitch so I didn’t get a picture of her, sadly.
I’ve enjoyed football with ladies so much I don’t want to play with guys anymore! Women are so much cuter getting stuck in, it really does become the Sexy Game! I’m absolutely shattered, and will sleep like a log tonight, hopefully while re-living it all!

That final match was it for me. My training with the ladies actually lasted longer than it should, it should have only been for 4 months, it was nearly 6. It’s also Rikky’s final week with Hopwood, too :(. The team captain is coming back from Maternity leave next week, so today is her final team training match, at 6pm, and then she’s got her final match on Friday.
That, then, is it for both of us. Rikky has asked me to play with her and her group of friends in her social team, but it’ll only be occasionally. As for Rik starting her own team, I know she still wants to do it, but time isn’t on her side, as she’s busy running MT. I’ve warned her about overworking herself too, I don’t want another episode where she loses too much weight again, like in 2006. I’m keeping a close eye on her, to keep her a cute perky lady 🙂 Why do women lose weight easily, yet I’ve been exercising my butt off, for months, running up and down football pitches, and haven’t visibly shed any? I thought playing footie with women might have helped, but it darn well didn’t!
Me, well, I get my Sundays back, and as long as Mika’s home every Sun, it shouldn’t be too hard getting back into a “relaxing” Sunday schedule!

Today was an experience I’ll never forget! We went up to Runcorn at 2pm. I was wearing Hopwood’s red Adidas branded kit today, as it was a proper match, so I had to wear the same colours as the girls. The pitch was huge! It’s a full size pitch used by amateur teams in full matches, and was something else! Stood at one end of the pitch looking towards the other, the field seemed to go for miles! The changing rooms were really big (that *might* have been because I had one to myself, as usual! The girls were in their own!) and a lot more luxurious than the ones at the public pitch in Birmingham.
I got to meet the other ladies team, who called themselves the Warrington Wasps, wearing a yellow kit, with black shoulder strips, like a wasp, coincidentally! What a team of cuties! There’s a cute babe on the Wasps team called Antonia, she’s got to be the cutest petite footie babe I’ve EVER seen! 5ft 1′ tall, brown hair, blue eyes and lovely tanned legs! Sorry Lisa, you’ve got competition, and she might sting you babe!
I was going to be scared as soon as I saw this team of ladies in their vicious looking waspy kit, but they were really friendly, and seemed to like the fact I was the only guy in the whole match. The Hopwood babes and myself went and had an hour’s training and warmup with Rikku, while the Wasps had theirs with their Captain, who, like Rikku, was a gorgeous redhead, but from Ireland! Wow, Canadian AND Irish redhead babes are so sexy, and the Irish accent is something else on a woman….
Rikku was referee on this match, and was wearing a blue kit, looking really cute! Her red hair goes well with any colour! I’m so glad she went red! The match was really good! Disappointingly the pitch actually wore me out too easily, because it was so big. Pitch condition was excellent, as proper pitches are well looked after. Our pitch in Birmingham is on a hill, at the bottom, and always gets really messy after heavy rain. I was slightly disappointed, as I did have to use more energy running up and down the pitch, and thought I might have had a bit more stamina. I’m not really a fast runner, but am quite powerful. Like a bus, power not speed! Rikku pulled me over and told me not to go for it too much, that the girls would give me chance. They did, and must have sensed that I was the trainee, because all of a sudden the game seemed to slow down, and I didn’t feel so worn out once I took it easy. It might have just been me overanticipating things, and getting overwhelmed.
Strangely, we seemed to swap goals after half time, and I hadn’t realised, until Rikku was running alongside me waving her arms, shouting for me to go the other way, which baffled me, as no-one had told me, and they don’t usually do this tactic in football! That error aside (I blamed myself and Rikku for not telling me) everything was great! We won 1-0, and at the end of the game when the final whistle blew, it didn’t feel like it’d been 90 minutes.
After today, if I don’t lose a stone in weight, I’ll be surprised. I must have run about 20 miles in total during today’s game, it feels like it, and it certainly will tomorrow! My legs are going to kill! The Warrington Wasps are a great team of hot footie chicks, they’re actually just a new social team, but were bloody brilliant, I enjoyed the game with them today! I actually told them I’d like to do it again, and I think there’s a few think I’m cute! Aww, shucks!!

No football today, Rikku was busy with work, she had to go sort insurance on 3 of her buses, and do 3 dropoffs and pickups. It seems my big match in a full size pitch is lingering. I don’t know whether to be scared being the only bloke in two women’s teams, or excited, I’ve seen how vicious these cutesy lady footie babes can be first hand, when Riky was running Woodhill, she was playing against a team from Cheshire, and they were vicious dirty chicks! Wahey!
Anyway, she says we’re definitely doing it next week, so I think I’ll just be excited for now, and then scared when the time comes I guess.
Jenny’s peed off, and it’s my fault (she doesn’t know it. I’m lodging with her a few days a week every other week, and if I do, she’ll kick me out!). She’s had a letter from Sky saying she’s gone over her Monthly Allowance, that resulted in a big gulp from me. Apparently its a 2GB a month (WHAAATTT?!? Murdoch, you moneygrabbing old fart!) and she’s “well over” that limit.
Woops. Jen, babe, I forgot to tell you. And it’s my server that’s eaten it. Probably about 45GB. Ow. I think I’m about to lose my sexy college friend who I’ve known for years. And my head to go with it. Followed by the rest of me. Into landfill. Because, if those Warrington footie chicks can get their claws into opponents, I’m about to see what a really pissed off Stockport bred babe is capable of.

I could never have imagined how hard today was going to be! In our one-to-one training hour Rikku had me doing everything we learned in all sessions, all in one go, from heading the ball through to goalie stuff, and it’s been hard work!
The match was really intensive, even the girls on my side were working me hard. I’ve never worked this hard, even in the bedroom with Kassie and Mika, and they’re quite demanding ladies 😉 Boy am I glad I didn’t have another rugby match earlier in the week, I would never have managed it! As Rikky mentioned afterwards, I’d got too used to the girls being gentle in the training, so that when it came for them to step on the gas, I wasn’t really ready! But, as she said after, that was how she intended it. If I’d been expecting it, it would’ve been too easy! Phew, women, eh? 🙂
I didn’t realise until I thought afterwards that I hadn’t had time to admire the team running around looking cute, I was working so hard! Next week is going to be hard, I can feel it, so Tuesday is going to be interesting. I don’t know any of Riky’s social friends team, or how they play.
Playing next Sunday’s match in a full football stadium is going to be a real experience, that is something I’ve never done. So is knowing who the other girls team are going to be, because according to Rikky, they are pretty good at what they do, and it’s a full on match, not a training session…..

Footie on a Sunday, and it’s sunny, cloudless, and not sloppy and muddy! I’ve never had conditions like this since I started training before Christmas! I’ve always had to battle through a wet/muddy pitch in some way, so this should see how I perform on normal pitch conditions.
Next week, though, is my final training session with Rikku and her Hopwood team. It’s going to be a full match, with me, and Hopwood, against another team, on a full size football pitch, up in Runcorn somewhere, so I guess today’s going to be Rikky gearing me up for it. She wants me to have a test match on Tuesday with her other social friends team against Hopwood. She has a group of friends she plays footie with now and again, and they seem quite competitive.
That should be quite fun! Me, being the only guy, with two teams of hot footie babes! If there’s something every guy should try, this is it! You think women aren’t suited to football? Think again! They’re the cutest, sexiest, friendliest, yet competitive footie players you can have, and you can get turned on watching them play, in full kit 🙂 Yeehaw!!
Rikku’s leaving Hopwood in May, as I mentioned, the team Captain is coming back from maternity leave, and Rikku’s only filling in for her. Where we’ll go after this, I’m not sure, but I know for a fact she wants to DEFINITELY manage her own amateur team again….

Yesterday was good! I got changed into my kit at Jenny’s this time, before setting off for Manchester on the bus and tram. I was deliberately doing a Rikku trick, showing off to the ladies on my journey, and got quite a few admiring glances from some very cute ladies! If you were one of the girls on the 471 going to Bury and Rochdale yesterday, the lad in the sky blue and navy silk football kit was me!
I’ve had a go on one of the new trams, and they’re sooo quiet! I’m not sure of the colour scheme though, bright yellow? I suppose Serco Stagecoach don’t know about inconspicuous? Or is it so the drunks can actually SEE the tram when they’re pissed so they don’t end up railkill? 🙂 Trams are boring, quiet, and electric. Buses all the way! Noisy, powerful growlers that let you know they’re working hard!
I got to Manchester, and there was cute ol’ Rikky herself, waiting for me at the tram stop looking as cute as can be in her football kit, her lovely long red hair flowing sexily over her shoulders, gleaming in the sunlight, big hazel eyes looking at me in their usual aren’t-I-cute? look. Woops, got carried away there…..! I could write a book about her, spend a lifetime writing it, and never finish, we’ve got so much history. I just love her with red hair, I’ve always been used to the brunette Rikky look for the past 7 years, with her hair black occasionally. Cue more blokes and ladies (women at me and blokes at Riky!) giving us the “ooooh!” and “phwoar!” looks as we got to her Merc, and drove to Birmingham. I should wear my footie kit permanently, I’ve never had so much female attention!
The training and match was good, the pitch was squelchy but not sloppy like my rugby match on Friday. The other girls hadn’t seen Rik with her hair red (the name for it is Radiant Red, according to her, but she looks more Ravishing!), so they were taken aback when they finally realised it was her!
Rikky and I spent our usual hour in one to one training, this time she was teaching me heading techniques, and chest control. I’m just glad she wears a padded bra and protective inserts, the speed at which she chested some of my shots would have hurt her puppies 🙁
The match was a bit more competitive than I’m used to. I think Rikky’s upped the ante a little, to see where my current limits are. She was against my side, and tackled me a lot faster and harder. I fell and slid a lot more! All in all I didn’t do so well this week, mainly due to me still aching from my frantic rugby match on Friday!
Note to self: Don’t do too much sport in a 3 day period, as a training player. It doesn’t work! If I was a pro, maybe!

I had a feeling she would. The weather has gone cold again since Thursday, and it has snowed and been icy in the Midlands, and now the pitch has frozen.
In a way, I’m glad. Given the choice of either a wet, muddy sloppy pitch, or a frozen one, I’d go for the muddy sloppy one, a frozen pitch is colder and harder to play on, especially for the goalie. Oh well. there’s always next Sunday!

After all the snowy weather here in the UK, I’m kinda glad to go back to football, it’s been boring, as I’ve got used to playing every Sunday, and seeing the nice sight that is Rikku and her ladies team all dolled up in their sexy footie kits, and I’ve missed it! Rikky’s gonna stand out in the team now, with her lovely new bright red hair!
Rikky’s only with Hopwood until May, and then the old captain comes back from maternity leave. We’re then planning on starting her own team up again, so we’ll be recruiting. She’s asked me to help manage the team, I don’t really know anything about being an amateur team manager, but she says I’ll be fine, so I’ll just follow her experienced lead! We’ve both helped each other in managerial roles before, and we’re a cool team!
The snow’s gone, but the rain’s back, so we’ll see how it goes closer to weekend!

Rikku phoned earlier this afternoon. She’d finished work earlier than expected, and Jill was still at her Aunty Sandra’s until 6pm. She offered to meet at the training pitch, for some one on one training, to see how my back had healed. I’ve kinda missed football with the weather being so snowy over the past month, so I was up for it!
So, I got all my new kit on, and headed over to the training pitch. Rikky was waiting in the changing room, already changed. She looked rather ravishing with her new hair colour, it matches her team shirt, which is red with black stripes down the shoulders and arms. She loved my new kit, and was rather surprised when she asked whose colours it was based on, and I told her my old secondary school. “You really suit it, you look nice!” “The pitch is wet, sloppier than I thought, but who cares, let’s go! Take it easy, and if you get ANY pain, shout and I’ll stop training.” She explained that it was just me and her because she felt I’d be under pressure if the other girls were there, as she’s seen how I get stuck in, and I could do myself damage.
We did some goal shot tactics, with her in goal and me coming in from different angles. She’s really good, and anticipated a few of my fool tactics, letting in only 3 of 12 shots at goal from me! Then we practised passing tactics, with her passing to me, and then me passing to her, from different angles. Following this we did some light tackling practise, she was very very gentle, and I made sure to fall by rolling on my side where possible. The muddy grass helped soften falls. We finished by doing some general dribbling, practising dribbling in slaloms round cones.
My new football boots are really good, they’re lightweight, and give me excellent ball control. My skills have actually improved since I got them, both in the one Sunday training match with the team that I’ve used them in, and my practise kickabouts in the garden. It’s good that I’ve got big feet too, I’m a men’s size 11, so there’s a lot of foot to use for passing and catching passes with the side of my foot, it dawned on me while Riksy was passing to me, she’s only a ladies size 7.
Kassie doesn’t really like me putting stud holes in the garden though (or ruining the grass when it’s muddy!). Her response the first time I came downstairs in my kit is, “Do you HAVE to wear your boots?”. I had to explain to her that my boots are lighter than my trainers, and are designed for ball control. Since the match when she joined us, she now knows. We have a pretty big garden, so she’s designated me my own area of the garden for football, that I can ruin as much as I want!
I enjoyed this unexpected training session, it’s always nice to be trained footie by Rikky. She’s been playing football for 7 years, after moving from Rounders and Netball. I just wished I’d asked her to train me when she was running Woodhill LFC, their training pitch was bigger, and I’d have more experience at football by now! I enjoyed watching her and the Woodhill ladies playing though, and went to several matches. Rikku reckons it was because I fancied her team captain, Lisa, but there were other reasons! I suppose I didn’t ask her because computers took over, and I never actually thought how nice being trained footie by girls really can be….
My back seems to be fine, I didn’t get any pain. My neck is still iffy, I think I strained a tendon or muscle, as it locks up, and hurts sometimes, it did it during warmup, so I need to keep an eye on it.

I love Asian girls! All cute, loving, sweet and adorable, but even sexier when muddy! With the eyes of the entire world on the Football World Cup, in South Africa, local authorities from Changsha, China had to come up with something better, yet related to current events.
And what’s better than football? Mud football, played by barely dressed gorgeous Asian models, of course. So they set up a small football pitch, filled it with mud, brought in models from various Chinese cities, and got the Beauty Mud Cup 2010 under way. In the photos below, teams from Hunan and Hubei go head to head, in one of the first matches of the competition. I don’t know the score, and neither do most of the male spectators who resumed to roars and cheers every time any of the girls kicked the ball through the mud.
Awwwww, aren’t they the cutest, muddiest Chinese angels anywhere? If they do one next year, count me in as a player with ’em!

I hurt my back last weekend, I slipped on some black ice, and my lower back took most of the impact. It was sore for about two days, then eased off a little, but then went bad again. I went to the doctor on Wednesday, and he’s told me not to do any heavy lifting (or football) for at least another month.
I wasn’t due to restart training with Rikku and her ladies until the second week in January, so I suppose knocking it back two weeks won’t make much difference. I told Rikky yesterday, and she agreed with the doctor, as she’s team first aider as well as captain. I could do more damage, especially in goalkeeping dives and tackles, if I land on my hips, it could shock my spine.
She just sweetly told me, “Just get yourself better, we’ve got plenty of time for your training”. She must have told the girls, because this morning a Get Well card signed by them all popped through my door!
Awwww, it was really touching. I bet a lads team wouldn’t have done that for me! So, women footballers are sweet as well as cute!! But we knew that already! 🙂 I just hope all the ice is gone by tomorrow, I’ve got a bit of walking to do… RAIN! PLEASE!!! Another slip, and my back could be kaput, and that isn’t a nice thought. All internal cabling to the big computer in your head runs up your spine… 🙁
